Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Caher (tulla Lower By.)

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Caher in Tulla Lower By. holds a ringfort, an earthen fort people built or abandoned before the written record reached it. The name Fairy fort suggests humans left the place to imagination, as if the stones and soil became a story when the living stopped repeating their own. It is a reminder that Clarity and memory can vanish from a region, not because the region is empty, but because the region stopped answering the questions being asked.
