What is recorded here
Magic and life are entangled there. Folds of forges and chambers are claimed beneath the hill. The fort is not dead, but waiting for memory and witness.
In the 1940s a 'great eminence', under which was a series of Man-made underground passages (see KE066-085002-), was recorded in the second field to the rear of Mrs. McKay's house (ITA). The nature of this 'eminence' is not known but given its association with Man-made underground passages it is possible that it may have been a rath. It has not been precisely located.
