Fairy fort in Brittas North, County Cork: a subcircular earthen ring about 34 metres across, with a 1.5-metre bank, set in pasture on a north-facing slope. People may have lived there, marked territory there, or simply avoided it because the shape suggested more than ordinary ownership. The bank still stands like a sentence unfinished, waiting for somebody brave or curious enough to complete it.

In pasture, on break in N-facing slope. Subcircular, slightly raised area (34m NNE-SSW; 33.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.50m).
