What is recorded here

Fairy forts are a misnomer. Humans built them, lived in them, and left them to rot. The fairies moved in later, as fairies do, claiming what people abandoned. Bohercuill is not a magical place. It is a human one, stripped of its people and handed to story. The ringfort stands because stone and soil outlive memory. Everything else is invention.
