What is recorded here

Beagh holds a forgotten ringfort on an east-facing slope above Cartron House. A vanished circle thirty metres wide, it may have been a home, a shrine or a boundary marker before the land swallowed it. The fairness in its name suggests people once believed the place belonged to someone else entirely.

On an E-facing slope in undulating pastureland just N of Cartron House. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure (D c. 30m). No visible surface trace survives.
