Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballytarsna (cullenagh By.) stands in County Laois, Ireland. A subcircular area (max. diam. c. 35m NW-SE) defined by a bank (Wth c. 3.6m, int. H c. 0.1m, ext. H c. 1m) from NW-SW, and by a scarp at W. External fosse (Wth c. 2.9m) present from SSE-N. Original entrance at SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
