Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballyroan (cullenagh By.) is a subcircular earthwork in County Laois, Ireland, with a 29m diameter, 1.3m scarp and 4.4m fosse, its southwest gap possibly the original entrance. People may have lived there, defended it or abandoned it before it became a fairy story. The earth still holds the shape of human choice, even when the names and dates have faded.

A subcircular area (diam. c. 29m SE-NW) defined by a scarp (ext. H c. 1.3m), and by a fosse (Wth c. 4.4m) at ESE. Gap at SW may be original entrance.
