Fairy fort in Ballynabucky, County Galway, is a roughly circular rath with a 28.7m diameter, built from a bank of earth and stone on a SE-facing slope in level pastureland. Its fair condition preserves the shape of an old boundary, while a 2.3m gap at SE may be modern rather than an entrance. The fort still marks the land as a place where people once drew a line around their lives.
