Fairy fort in Ballymacrown is a circular earthen ringfort on a west-facing slope in County Cork. Its bank stands 2.5m high along the north and west, while the interior rises on the west to level the ground. Cattle still move around it in pasture, unaware they circle one of West Cork’s oldest shaped landscapes.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (25.1m N-S; 23.8m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.5m) NW->W; scarp W->NW. Interior raised on W side to compensate for hillslope.
