What is recorded here

No one knows who built the vanished Ballyhorgan fort, but the earth kept its shape long enough for a survey to record it before memory faded. That is enough to know the place existed, resisted forgetting, and withdrew again.

This small circular enclosure which is marked on the 1841-42 OS map is situated to the NE of KE016-021---- & KE016-023----. It is not marked on the later edition. No surface trace survives.
