Fairy fort in Ballyglass South is a circular rath twenty-eight metres wide, buried under grass and field boundaries in County Galway. Its earthworks have faded until only a shallow dip and faint bank remain, yet the shape still reads as a room built by human hands. Local tradition calls it a fairy fort, which is not a joke but a warning: the smallest details leave first, and the largest claims enter through the gap.

In gently undulating grassland. Very poorly preserved circular rath (D 28m) defined by a degraded scarp and intervening fosse, with traces of a possible outer bank, overlain by a field boundary, from NE through S to SSW.
