Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballyformoyle is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballyformoyle, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a shelf on the northwest-facing slope of Ballyfermoyle Hill and appears only on the 1914 edition of the Ordnance Survey six-inch map. The circular grass-covered area measures twenty-three and a half metres east-west and twenty-one and eight metres north-south, with a drystone wall along its eastern, southern and western edges. A rectangular house site lies in the western interior, while another rath stands eighty metres to the northwest and a cashel thirty metres to the west.
Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a shelf on the NW-facing slope of Ballyfermoyle Hill. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 23.5m E-W; 21.8m N-S) defined by a scarp down to the interior (H at S 0.3m) surmounted by a drystone wall (Wth 0.5m; H 0.7m) E-S-W, and an outer scarp (H at N 0.7m) elsewhere. An E-W drystone wall crosses the interior N of the centre, and there is a rectangular house site (RO004-035002-) (ext. dims. 6.6m E-W; 4m N-S) visible as a depression with a wall-footing at N in the W interior. Rath (RO004-034----) is c. 80m to the NW and cashel (RO004-036----) is c. 30m to the W.
