What is recorded here

Fairy fort in Ballyduvane: a 33m earthen ring on a south-west slope, with a southern causeway entrance and a small triangular platform inside the north-west bank. People may have pastured there, marked territory, or gathered at season’s turn; the shape still works like a room without walls. What is missing is not the same as vanished. The field remembers the difference between absence and erasure.

In pasture, on SSW-facing slope. Circular area (33m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.75m), with external fosse (D 0.75m). Break in bank to S, with causeway. Interior slopes down to SW; raised triangular platform (H 0.5m; 8m; 3m; 4m) abutting inside of NW bank. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
