What is recorded here
Fairy forts are not abandomed human homes, they are active edge places where the invisible world still lives. The circle must stay unbroken, unmarked and unmapped. People died everywhere they forced entry or treated the hidden as fantasy. The field is not empty, it is occupied.
In level pasture. Circular area (diam. 22m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.7m) with external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 1.2m). Field boundary skirts outer edge of fosse S->SSE. Interior rises up gently towards centre. Entire site under pasture.
