A circular area (diam. c. 41m) defined by a bank (Wth c. 1.4m, int. H c. 0.3m, ext. H c. 1.1m) at SSW, and elsewhere by a scarp. Possible original entrance at NNW. No evidence of fosse. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
