What is recorded here
Fairy forts hide in plain sight, but this one surrendered to the plough. A circular embankment thirty metres wide stood in Ballycluvane pasture when surveyed in 1924, yet repeated passing has erased even its shadow. What remains is a vacant field where memory should have held its shape.
In level pasture. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1924 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.
