No visible remains, though the land may still hold the buried shape of a small fortress. A fairy fort is a human fort renamed, perhaps because people stopped understanding it or chose to believe the walls belonged to something quicker and meaner. The ring may have held a family, a herdsman or a fleeing woman, and the fairy label came later as memory thinned.
