What is recorded here

No visible trace survives today, but a large circular enclosure still stands in memory south of the listed site. It appeared on maps drawn in the nineteenth century, suggesting people walked past or lived beside the ridge before it vanished from sight. Perhaps the earth slipped back into the field or hands removed the stones. The fort may have been a boundary marker, a shelter, or a warning not to take more than the land could give.

Situated in the next field immediately S of KE021-075----, this large circular enclosure is marked on the 1841-42 and 1898 OS maps. No visible trace survives today.
