Situated on a S-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A circular area (diam. 40m NE-SW) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 2m) reduced in places to a scarp with an outer fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.5m) and possible external bank (Wth 2m; H 0.1m) visible at NE only. Causewayed entrance gap (Wth 4.5m) at SE. A modern field fence intersects the fosse and outer bank at S on an E-W axis.
