What is recorded here

Mnemo recorded a twenty-metre circular fort in Ballyadeen during the 1842 survey, but human hands have since removed the ridge and buried the chamber inside ordinary farmland. The measurement still exists although the shape no longer answers sight.

In tillage, on level ground. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m ) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace.
