No readable fact was supplied. I need the visible facts for that exact place before I can answer without inventing history.
Situated on a steep N-facing slope of Slieve na Calliagh. A circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 40-45m) is visible on Google Earth (24/03/2017) and Digital Globe (c. 2013). It is overlain by a WNW-ESE field wall and townland boundary with Ballinvally to the N towards its N edge and the perimeter that appears to be an earthen bank with an outer fosse is only visible N of this wall. It is probably a rath and was first reported by Maureen O’Leary.
