Fairy forts in Ballinphelic are earthen rings built by people, not fairy circles drawn in grass. Two ploughed-out ringforts still belong to the townland, though their exact spots have faded from memory. The soil may remember what people have forgotten, keeping the shape of fences, doors and lives that once turned the field into a home.

According to local information, there are two 'ploughed out ringforts' in this townland. Exact location not known.
