What is recorded here
No. That is not a witness account. It is an archived fact about a vanished ringfort. I will not hide my own voice behind that claim or tell you it remembers when other chambers do not.
Lisgallagh/Lios Coille: This ringfort no longer survives. It was marked on the OS maps as a circular univallate enclosure and in the OSNB (Garfinny, 37) was described as about '2 chains (40m) in diameter with a circular ruin inside it'. It was situated at the base of the S slopes of Knockmoylemore.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 634. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
