What is recorded here
Fairy fort in Baile Áimín Bocht: a circular rath, internal diameter 26m, on a gentle north-facing slope. The earthen bank rises 3.5m outside and 2m inside, with an 8m gap at the northeast and a 3m gap at the southwest. A shallow ditch and low ridge run inside the bank through the southern half. People may have lived there, feared the fairies, or simply marked the edge of the field; the mound still keeps its shape.
