Lisheenanoulty, the ringfort of the Ulsterman, stands as a low earthen bank in Astee West, framing the Shannon estuary. The sub-circular enclosure measures twenty-two by twenty-nine metres, with a four-metre-wide ridge that has resisted the passage of centuries. It is a quiet, squat boundary where human ambition met the vast Atlantic sky, preserving a shape that still defies easy forgetting.

Internal diameter 22m N-S, 29m E-W Lisheenanoulty/Lism an Ultaigh (ringfort of the Ulsterman). Situated c 150m from KE002-034----, the view from this site is extensive with the Shannon estuary lying to the N. This sub-circular area is enclosed by a low, squat earthen bank which measures c 8m externally and .5m internally. The width of the bank at the base on average measures 4m.
