Thirty decades of rain erased the east bank, yet the north wall still stands above its earthen base. The fort has become a slurry pit for nearby farms, transforming ancient defensive earth into modern agricultural utility. What was built to exclude invaders now contains liquid manure, proving that human purposes change faster than stone.

Internal diam. 27.4m. This circular univallate enclosure is situated at the N edge of a complex of farm buildings and is now used as a slurry pit. The SE section of the enclosing bank has been completely destroyed and the SW section survives only as a low scarp, the interior being raised slightly above the external ground level. The N half of the enclosure is bounded by a wall measuring .5m in width and up to 1.5m in height. Externally, this latter rests on an earthen platform, c. 1.25m wide and 1m high. It seems likely that this platform represents the remains of the original enclosing bank and that the overlying wall is a late feature. Slight traces of a fosse, c. 2m wide, encircle this platform.
