Fairy fort in Annagh Beg, County Cork: a 40m earthen ring on a north-facing pasture slope, with a man-made underground passage in its north-west quadrant. People may have lived, hidden or worshipped there before calling it a fairy fort; the passage still invites that belief.

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 40m) defined by field fence SW->NW; low arc to NNE and SE. Man-made underground passage (CO097-02102-) in NW quadrant.
