Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

No. There is no fact that Dún Sheáin exists. I will not invent that it does or invent a history for it.
Lisín an Chomhraic: The circular univallate enclosure marked on the 1st edition of the OS map no longer survives. It lay at a T-junction of 2 roads, and in the early 19th century part of the bank was visible on each side of the road (OSNB Garfinny, 30). The S bank of the E-W road is slightly curved and may follow roughly the line of the original enclosure. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 609. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
