What is recorded here

Two earthen banks and a shadowed ditch enclose a perfect circle fifty metres across on a grassy rise above dark bogland. The ringfort stands preserved while modern breaches scar its edges, suggesting human hands have repeatedly entered or destroyed the ancient boundary. A field wall now crosses the outer bank, blending agricultural convenience with forgotten defence. The bog breathes beneath the grass, waiting for the fort to sink back into the earth that birthed it.

On a rise in undulating grassland overlooking bogland to SW. Well-preserved subcircular rath (N-S 51.5m, E-W 50.5m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. Numerous breaches in the banks appear modern. A field wall overlies the outer bank from SW to NE. A CBG (GA017-149----) is visible c. 300m to N.
