Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Aghanacrinna — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Aghanacrinna holds a broken ring where cattle trampled the walls into a shallow circle beside a small stream. The remaining mound rises two metres above its ditch, large enough for a family farm but no longer sharp enough to keep out rain or memory. A separate oval mound sits nearby, possibly belonging to the same lost household. The fort has surrendered most of its shape, yet it still marks the ground where someone lived before forgetting began.

Internal diameter 19m N-S, 18.8m E-W Lying just S of a small stream, with a fairly good view in all directions, this univallate rath has been much levelled by cattle. All that survives is a raised circular area enclosed by a fosse. The circular raised area rises to a maximum of 2.1m above the fosse. The external fosse is on average 1.7m wide and 1m deep. About 9.5m NE of this rath is an oval raised area (KE021-025002-), 14m N-S and 10m E-W internally. It rises to c 1.4m above the external ground level.
