What is recorded here

Discovered prior to road construction (Excavation Licence No. 00E0794). Excavation of an area 50m x 40m area led to the discovery of two Neolithic Structures (LH021-072---- and LH021-078----), a cobbled surface (situated between the two structures) and approximately 40 pits (LH021-079----). The pits were found S of the two structures. Some functioned as refuse pits, others as hearths and some may have had ritual significance.
