Located on the tip of the low-lying Crossfintan Point. Three shallow, interlocking pits (L 3m; Wth 0.5-1m), lined with stones and filled with burnt clay and charcoal were discovered by Prof. F. Mitchell in 1983 (pers. comm.). One sample produced a radiocarbon determination of 1750 ± 80 BP. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
