Situated on a gentle E-facing slope. Identified in centre-line testing (05E0763) of the alternate route of the N25 Waterford city bypass (Russell 2008b), and excavated completely (E3445) as Bawnfune 3 during 2007 (O'Hara 2010d). Six small pits (diam. c. 1m; D c. 0.5m) surrounded a small depression (dims. c. 15m x c. 10m; D c. 0.2m) that may have been a shallow pond. A post-hole produced a C14 date of cal BC 3200-2030 BC. No artefacts were recovered, but it may have played a role in relation to the burnt mound (WA017-131002-), c. 60m to the E. (O'Hara, R. 2009d); O'Hara and Ginn 2011b
