Enda Stevens was born in Dublin on 9 July 1990, the kind of place where young men still run barefoot across wet grass before they ever tie proper boots. He played Gaelic football for St James Gaels and Templeogue Synge Street, learning speed and hunger on ordinary streets before UCD, St Patrick's Athletic and Shamrock Rovers turned that hunger into a career. Even after England and years away, he returned to Shamrock Rovers for 2026, completing the circle from a Dublin boy to a man who kept coming back to the game that first caught him.
