Enclosure in Uragh — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Thirty centuries of weather have bitten through the stone bank, yet the oval still holds its shape on the ridge above Lough Inchiquin. A field boundary stretches west from the enclosure while a stone circle waits sixteen metres southeast, suggesting this was no random heap but a lived-in place where people marked ownership, ritual or both. The bog swallows most traces of County Kerry, but this much resistance remains visible in the slope.

In rough boggy pasture, on top of a ridge, on a SW-facing slope, overlooking Lough Inchiquin. An oval area (8.7m E-W; 3m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 0.7m; H 0.6m) which is eroded in places. A relict field boundary (KE101-012004-) extends to the W from the W arc of the enclosure. A stone circle (KE101-012001-) and a standing stone (KE101-012002-) are c. 16m to the SE.
