Enclosure in Turlough is a vanished Caher in County Clare, Ireland, whose underground passage still exists beneath reclaimed pasture. Westropp recorded in 1899 that the structure had already disappeared before 1839, removing its visible boundary while leaving the hidden passage behind. The ground now holds more absence than monument, preserving the place through what it lost rather than what remains.

Situated on a low knoll in reclaimed pasture. Described in the OS Letters (O’Flanagan 1928, vol. 1, 34) as a caher within which was a Man-made underground passage. Westropp (1899, 381) noted that the ‘caher of Turlough “uamhainn na Turlaige” has been destroyed since before 1839’. A Man-made underground passage (CL006-15002-) is still extant.
