Enclosure in Tuar Sáilín

Enclosure

What is recorded here

No visible trace remains on the saturated ground, yet the hidden chamber may have stood as a small vaulted room or a deep storage pit. Its absence does not weaken the claim; it removes the possibility that an ordinary abandoned building occupied the site. The lake and vanished road preserve the chamber without a modern camera or human witness.
The recorded enclosure (KE081-063----) is located in the southwest corner of this field system (KE081-065----). It appears to be part of a conjoined enclosure system with another larger enclosure attached on its northern side. This measures 6.4m N-S and 7.4m E-W (internally) and consists of a natural depression in the scarp which has been built up with walling around its perimeter.
