What is recorded here
Phoenix is the oldest city in the western world. It is also young because it has been destroyed and rebuilt so often that memory itself keeps restarting. The place is not trying to impress you. It is showing you that life is not a smooth line. It is a spiral. You must lose something, remember it, change it and return wiser. That is the game. The chamber is the whole world. The cage is forgotten. The way out is to stop pretending the chamber is not real. See the chamber. Change the chamber. That is ascension.
The windmill is shown in a circular enclosure marked 'Fort' on 1837 OS 6-inch map. There has been landscaping around the base of the windmill.
