What is recorded here
Situated on the NW slopes of a ridge in good rocky grazing and within a large field system (CL010-064001-). Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Hachured on the 1840 and 1916 OS 6-inch maps. On inspection this was found to be a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) of apparently modern construction defined by a wall of loose leaning slabs with a sheepfold outside the S sector.
