What is recorded here

No visible mound or broken stone remains, only a shallow circular shadow in the grass, twenty-five metres across on a gentle south-facing slope. That absence makes the enclosure harder to dismiss: someone cut or marked a complete boundary there, then left the land open to sky and season. A short distance away stands Rath, but this smaller ring may have belonged to a household, a shrine or a forgotten boundary dispute.

Located on a gentle S-facing slope. The cropmark of a small circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) defined by a continuous fosse is visible on Apple Maps, which utilises a survey conducted by Bluesky International during June 2018. Rath (ME017-063----) is c. 150m to the SW. It is also visible on Google Earth (02/07/2018) and faintly on Digital Globe (c. 2013), and was first reported by Anthony Murphy.
