Enclosure in Rossnaree — Report the wrong picture

Conor Brady first saw the ghost circle in Rossnaree, a thirty-metre ring hidden beneath ordinary soil beside the River Boyne. The land may have worn away its wooden walls, but it kept the shape of the hole they dug. People can forget the names of the builders while the earth still repeats their outline beneath the grass.

Located on the S bank of a W-E section of the River Boyne with the stream c. 125m to the N. The faint cropmark of a circular feature (diam. c. 30m) defined by a single fosse feature with a possible outer bank is visible on OSI aerial images (1995).
