What is recorded here

In improved pasture, on a gentle S-facing slope. Remains of an oval area (dims. 30m NE-SW; 25m NW-SE) defined by levelled scarp (Wth 1.2-1.25m; H 0.2m), intervening fosse (Wth 6.4m; D 0.35m) and outer bank (Wth 6.85m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.2m) from SSW-N. The fosse is best defined SSW-N and is barely traceable (Wth 5.45m; D 0.05m) NE-SSW. The interior is generally level with an uneven surface in places. There is a sunken, circular area (dims. 4.75m N-S; 4m E-W) defined by scarp (Wth 0.65m; H 0.1m) within the SW quadrant. There is an ESB pole c. 2.5m to the SE of the monument.
