In fallow tillage, on a generally level area. A ringfort (TS062-103----) lies c. 90m to the N and an enclosure (TS062-106----) c. 140m to the SE. It is depicted on the 2nd (1905) ed. The enclosure had been levelled when visited by Cahill (1982) in 1975.
