Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and the 1948 revision as a roughly oval enclosure (dims. c. 36m NE-SW; c. 28m NW-SE) surrounded (at a distance of c. 5-13m) by an outer enclosure (dims. c. 60m NE-SW and NW-SE), which is sub-square with curving angles to the E and S. On the 1948 ed. the outer enclosure is shown as being enclosed by a field boundary. as a roughly circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 44m). On satellite imagery there are trees growing around the perimeters and in the interior is under grass.
