What is recorded here
Located on the W-facing slope of a low N-S ridge on land that was once demesne land of Newtown House. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) defined by a single fosse feature N-E-S is visible only on Apple Maps, which utilises a survey conducted by Blue Sky International during June 2018. The perimeter runs into deeper soil and a less mature crop S-W-N. It was reported separately by Matthew Mullen-Reynolds and Anthony Murphy at about the same time.
