Situated on flat poorly drained land with a nearby ringfort (TN026-012) to the W. A raised circular platform (diam. 30.75m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (H 1.5-2m). A railway line intersects the site at E destroying the site at this point. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
