What is recorded here
On a steep E-facing slope, with a small stream flowing N-S c. 60m to E, in rough pasture. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as a small circular enclosure (diam. c. 15m) immediately S of a trackway leading to a farmhouse and outbuildings. The enclosure, as well as the buildings, are not shown on the subsequent 1947 revision, which suggests that the enclosure was levelled between 1839 and 1947. It is not visible at ground level.
