In level pasture, on demesne of and c. 300m to NE of Gibbings Grove House (14914). Circular area (9.6m N-S; 9.5m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.25m) with external fosse (D 0.15m). According to local information, interior once planted with five beech trees; locally known as a tree ring.
