What is recorded here
In rough pasture, on a NE-facing slope, overlooking Gowlane Lake. A triangular area (int. dims.: 13.2m NW-SE; 12.5m E-W; 8.2m N-S) formed by a collapsed NW-SE drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.5m) at SW, by the N end of a relict field boundary (KE108-049001-) at E and by the external S wall of an enclosure (KE108-049006-) at N. In general the upper courses have collapsed downslope and rubble is scattered near the perimeter. The large stones of the lower courses protrude above the peaty soil. A hut site (KE108-049004-) abuts the NE corner of the enclosure, internally.
