Enclosure in Lehid (glanarought By.)

In rough hill pasture, on a level area of mainly cut-away bog, overlooking Kenmare Bay. A circular area (diam. 13.6m) defined by a partially grass-covered, collapsed stone wall (T 1m; H 0.5m). Traces of an inner and an outer row of contiguous stone slabs with rubble infill are visible W-NW. Large stones in the lower courses protrude above the surface of the shallow bog. The entrance (Wth 0.8m) at NNW is defined by an upright slab at each side. The S portion of the interior is raised (H 0.2m) above external ground level. A relict field wall (KE109-002001-) abuts this enclosure at NW. A burnt spread (KE109-002002-) is c. 40m to the S.
